We can become socially intelligent by exercising attitudes of support, encouragement, and care toward others.
For instance, if we approach someone, we should think about how we can help them.
When we see someone weaker than us in some way, we should think about how we can assist and support them.
When we see someone stronger than ourselves in a certain way, then we should think about what advice we can give them on how to relate to others.
We are all given differing levels of intelligence, but anyone and everyone can develop high social intelligence, because we each have our role to fulfill in life. There is no person without whom the society can be whole.
With regard to our effort in supporting, encouraging, and caring about others, we are all equal. Imagine a complete and ideal system where even if the smallest screw is missing, the machine will not work. That is indeed how it is with us.
By developing social intelligence in human society at large, we will then all know who we can turn to for help, and who needs help.
We are all interconnected and interdependent, so in order to realize our interconnectedness and interdependence harmoniously, we need to continually exercise positive, supportive, encouraging, and caring attitudes to each other.
