An ideal society is one where its members have developed an attitude to life that prioritizes benefiting others, society and nature over self-benefit, and where positive connections continually blossom among all of its members.
Kabbalist Yehuda Ashlag (Baal HaSulam) describes such connections as a cooperative society where its members uphold the principle of “what’s mine is yours, what’s yours is yours,” and where each member works according to their ability, and receives according their need.
Significantly, such connections become established not by coercion but through each person’s free desire, where each member of society willingly wishes the best for others, thinking that they should be in a bestowing attitude and positive connection with one another, and then the general load divides among everyone.
Accordingly, everyone in society will share in the revelation that gives them the ability to work according to their desire, as much as possible, for the benefit of society, and receive according to their need.
It is a vision of a society that operates similarly to a healthily functioning family. Society requires much further development into the future in order to reach such a state.
