According to Kabbalist Yehuda Ashlag (Baal HaSulam), the solution to inequality is reaching a state where we each give as much as we can and receive as much as we need.
How can this state come about? In Baal HaSulam’s words, it is by “the arrival of the redeemer.”
“Each gives as much as he can and then takes only as much as he needs. […] This can be done only by the arrival of the redeemer, when the earth is full of knowledge. Then the giver will understand that he is exerting for his God, giving contentment to his Maker.” – Kabbalist Yehuda Ashlag (Baal HaSulam), “The Writings of the Last Generation.”
What is “the arrival of the redeemer”? It is the arrival of a higher power. Its key strength is to bring people the idea of connection and equality in mind and feeling. This redeeming force acts in a way where everyone starts understanding that only connection among equals leads to balance with nature.
When this balance with nature takes place, and the feeling of the higher power—a force of love and bestowal—dwells in society, then the solution to inequality presents itself. When equality comes about thanks to the revelation of this redeeming force, then people will aspire for connection with it, each according to their abilities. It will then not matter what nature-given characteristics people possess, whether they are lazy or diligent. What will matter is their aspiration to connect, regardless of the “package” they have been given. Likewise, no one will demand more from others than they can give.
