Indeed, the world today is gripped by an epidemic of fear. People are losing trust in one another, with less and less people striving toward shared goals. Unlike in our past, when greed and ambition drove us to achieve, now fear has risen as one of the most dominant qualities. Many people feel as if we are heading toward a dead end, but I see such a development in a positive light. It is not a dead end at all. When you approach what seems to be a dead end, you suddenly discover that there is a door within it, and this door leads to the next world.
In the past, people could find solace in faith. They believed in various gods or higher powers, and this belief gave them a sense of security and a way to cope with their fears and anxieties. Today, however, this kind of faith is disappearing. More and more people have lost that connection to something higher, and so they are left to face their fears and uncertainties alone. They cannot link their suffering or troubling emotions to the governance of a higher force, and this leaves them feeling overwhelmed. Fear thus consumes more and more people, paralyzing their thoughts and actions. It is as if they want to close their eyes, crawl under a blanket like a frightened child, and pretend the world outside does not exist.
The way out of this state is through education—not the kind of mechanical solutions or artificial distractions that today’s technicians offer, but a connection-enriching education that reveals to us the system of nature and its purpose: how it operates, why it exists, where we are imbalanced with it, and how we can achieve balance with it, thereby leading us to a harmonious and peaceful existence. Such education should reveal to us that fear and the crises we face are not punishments but opportunities. They are intended to awaken deeper questions about the meaning of life and guide us toward discovering the higher reality that governs everything.
By learning to connect with others, rising above personal fears, and cultivating mutual support, encouragement, and love throughout society, we can transform what feels like a dead end into a new beginning. Fear is not the final word—it is a doorway to growth and a higher level of existence. Through this process, we can discover our true freedom and a lasting sense of security.
