We lack the qualities to reinvent ourselves by ourselves. What are these qualities? They are the feeling of how we cause an imbalance in society, among closer and broader circles, through to the whole of nature and the universe.
Where is such balance? There is balance in nature’s inanimate, vegetative, and animate levels. They function according to nature’s laws of interconnectedness and interdependence.
We people, however, constantly develop and change, and we mostly do so in our relationships. We experience many problems due to our ego—the desire to enjoy at others’ expense—which constantly grows. Therefore, we need to learn what is the ego and how we balance it in order to bring ourselves to a balanced and peaceful life.
First, we should understand nature’s demands upon us, and be afraid of falling into an imbalance with nature. Why? It is because attitudes and behaviors that are imbalanced with nature invite a smorgasbord of troubles on personal, social, and ecological scales.
We should thus try to get along with each other in a way that will be positive for everyone. It means that we should rise above our own ego, and reach a state where we think and act positively with each other.
In such a way, we can think of nature like a mother. Her children’s egos always flare up, leading to arguments and fights, but she continually reminds her children to stop fighting, to be good, to play nicely, and to help each other. We should learn from such an example and try to apply a mother-like attitude to each other and nature. By doing so, we will elevate human consciousness to a point where we enter into balance with each other and nature, thereby meeting the conditions for a harmonious and peaceful life.
